Alabama was one of the first states in the country to feature boys and girls basketball teams, in a final four format, together in one venue.  This tradition continues 20 years later.

 

The AHSAA State Basketball Championships, now the AHSAA Final 48 Championships, showcases the best high school athletes in the state.
